Locus standi

Ex delicto means “From a wrong.” It describes obligations or claims that arise from a wrongful act, such as damage or injury, rather than from an agreement. Source: Roman legal term.

Beatus qui prodest quibus potest means “Happy is he who helps whom he can.” Happiness comes from being useful to others within one’s means. Source: Latin saying.
